About this role
Blackheath High School is seeking an inspiring Visiting Music Teacher (Singing) to work from our well-equipped facilities on a self-employed basis.
As a Singing Teacher, you will deliver engaging and supportive singing lessons to students, helping them to fulfil their full musical potential. This role would suit a teacher with experience in nurturing young female voices in classical repertoire.
Visiting Music Teachers are self-employed and the contract for the provision of lessons is between parents and the VMT. The VMT Agreement is drawn up by the GDST and arrangements for instrumental lessons are managed by the Director of Music, who acts as an agent in making the contractual arrangement with parents.
There is currently one day of teaching available for 14 pupils, but this is subject to change in demand. The current teaching rate is £24.50 per 30-minute lesson.
