As part of the continued growth and development of our Secondary provision, BEK is seeking to connect with qualified and passionate Secondary teachers across a range of subject areas for potential positions beginning in August 2026.
Our Secondary curriculum currently includes:
English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Geography, History, and Spanish.
While specific staffing needs may vary from year to year, we are interested in hearing from teachers across all subject areas offered within our Secondary curriculum. This includes both teachers with a strong specialism in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and the Sciences, as well as teachers who are able to contribute across multiple subject areas where appropriate. Such flexibility supports the continued development of our curriculum and wider Secondary provision.
Job Description
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary teachers to join our growing team. Successful candidates will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons within their subject specialism(s) for students aged 11–18.
Teachers at BEK play a key role in inspiring students to achieve their full potential, while preparing them for success in further study and beyond. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum and/or IGCSE and A Level pathways, adapted to the needs of learners;
Contributing to a collaborative and reflective professional culture across Secondary;
Supporting interdisciplinary learning opportunities and wider curriculum initiatives where appropriate;
Promoting enthusiasm for subject learning through enrichment opportunities, clubs, competitions, and wider programme activities;
Supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development;
Carrying out wider professional responsibilities including planning, assessment, reporting,
