About this role
Bloom World Academy is seeking creative and expert practitioners for the role of Second in Mathematics (Lead Practitioner) to join in Academic Year 2026/2027.
As an IB educator, you must display a clear commitment to developing international mindedness in your classroom and support the development of this across the school. Experience in, or strong knowledge of, a student-centered inquiry-based learning approach is also required. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and a track record of building and maintaining close professional relationships, as well as display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
We are looking for experienced teachers with a passion in supporting every child to achieve and develop for learning and developing a classroom environment where every child can succeed. You will be able to teach students of all abilities, demonstrate a proven track record of securing outstanding student outcomes.
It is highly desirable that you have experience of the IB programme, albeit not essential, as training will be given. As a lead practitioner you should have knowledge and experience in planning rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences for your students, have a strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom, and most importantly have a passion to stretch students to achieve their potential and beyond.
