We are situated in the historic town of Denbigh in North Wales. The school has 37 acres of pitches, parkland and play areas and beautiful views across to the Clwydian hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our Senior School as a Psychology teacher. This is a part-time role (0.6) and a maternity cover with proposed dates for the majority of the academic year 2026-2027. Alongside high academic expectations we have an excellent Learning Through The Outdoors programme, an active music department, a CCF unit and we run all levels of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. We run a full range of extra-curriculum activities and sports teams. Primarily though we are looking for a hard-working individual who is organised, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and who has a passion for Psychology. We currently run the Edexcel Psychology A level course. We are willing to take on teachers at any stage of their career although NQTs should be aware that we currently only run our own internal support programme. As a Microsoft Showcase School our lessons are delivered with the assistance of Teams and OneNote. Training is provided for this aspect and professional learning is encouraged.
