About this role
The PSRP Teacher and Inclusion Intervention Lead will support students to achieve positive academic, social and emotional outcomes within both a specialist and mainstream settings. The post holder will be responsible for the education and wellbeing of two PSRP classes, alongside leading the development of targeted intervention programmes across the school.
The role includes developing, delivering and quality assuring evidence-informed interventions relating to literacy, numeracy, study skills, emotional regulation, anxiety management, wellbeing and social cognition. A key focus of the role is supporting successful access, introduction and reintegration into mainstream learning through adaptive teaching, personalised support and evidence-informed practice.
Working closely with the PSRP Leadership Team, therapy team, SENDCo and Lead Practitioner (Inclusion), the successful candidate will monitor the impact of interventions, support high aspirations and independence, and help develop inclusive practice across the school in line with EHCP outcomes and the SEND Code of Practice.
