We’re looking for a part‑time PSHE Subject Lead who can bring energy, expertise and heart to a curriculum that sits at the core of our school ethos. You’ll lead PSHE across KS3–KS5, ensuring every student—particularly those with complex SEMH needs, including Autism—feels seen, supported and empowered to thrive. PSHE isn’t a bolt‑on here. It’s woven into daily life, guiding how we teach, support and care for our students. As our PSHE Lead, you’ll shape the culture, build staff confidence and champion the personal development of every young person in our community. What you will be doing Lead, deliver and evaluate a high‑quality PSHE curriculum across KS3–KS5, ensuring strong foundations at KS3. Drive curriculum development, keeping it aligned with statutory guidance, best practice and the evolving needs of our students. Train, coach and support staff, helping them deliver PSHE with confidence, clarity and compassion. Build trusting relationships with students to promote engagement, wellbeing and participation. Support students through dysregulation, using individual risk assessments and behaviour strategies to guide your approach. Use data systems effectively to monitor behaviour, engagement and progress. Coordinate whole‑school initiatives, awareness days and enrichment opportunities that embed PSHE into everyday school life.
