About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of student support through raising aspirations and performance and helping to build ambition, confidence and resilience in young people.
Working as part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible and accountable for a cohort of students, working with them in a diverse range of ways including goal setting, monitoring achievement and attendance and motivational coaching. You will be expected to liaise with parents, Subject Teachers, Heads of Faculty and Senior Progress Tutors to support, challenge and motivate students in all aspects of the learning journey.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills. You will have previous experience of providing information, advice and guidance to young people and will be confident in building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues. A genuine commitment to supporting young people is essential.
Two positions are available, totalling 1.6 FTE (8 working days). The posts are term time plus one week (39 weeks per year). Please state clearly in your application how many days per week you wish to be considered for.
