Primary School Teacher
Hours: Part Time – Flexible Hours
An exciting opportunity for a Primary School Teacher has arisen to join the supportive team teaching well behaved primary school aged children. The successful Primary School Teacher will teach English and Maths to motivated pupils from Years 1 to Year 6 on weekday evenings and/or Saturdays, and work to complement and enhance the educational work primary school age children undertake at school.
Primary School Teacher Responsibilities:
Helping primary school age children to achieve real improvements in English and Maths school grades
Working on an individual basis, helping students to achieve tremendous progress in a relatively short period of time
Teaching the UK National Curriculum in English and Maths
Primary School Teacher Requirements:
You must be a well-organised, dynamic and hardworking individual
Experience as a Primary School Teacher with a PGCE/BEd qualification
Demonstrable experience teaching the UK National Curriculum in English and Maths
Excellent student interaction skills in small groups and one-to-one settings
DBS clearance and support from two referees
Commitment to sessions on regular days and times is highly desirable
Experienced primary school teaching assistants will be considered if they have confidence and demonstrable experience teaching high ability English and Maths up to Year 6
Knowledge of teaching Eleven Plus and Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning is desirable but not essential
