Post-16 Phase Lead (Teacher)
The role is a Permanent, Full-Time only role
Monday to Friday: (08:30am – 17:00pm)
Salary from: Dependant on experience

Our special outstanding school is constantly growing, providing a supportive, nurturing learning environment for more and more children. We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to join our Post-16 team in the role of Post-16 Phase Lead (Teacher).
The main joint responsibilities of the role:
• Together with your Therapist Co-Lead, coordinate the Post-16 Curriculum, taking ownership of your particular professional speciality (Teaching). You will ensure the smooth running of assessments, the holistic curriculum, qualifications and pupil progress.
• To support and coordinate the students and staff on a daily basis, creating a nurturing, family atmosphere with high expectations and excellent provision.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, support and manage a multidisciplinary post 16 team
• Confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for learning
• A relevant teaching qualification
• Excellent English skills (clear written and spoken English) along with good reading, writing and numeracy skills
• The ability to build good working relationships with students, teachers, parents and carers
• The ability to work collaboratively as a member of a wider team of teachers, therapists and support staff
• Experience of working with children with Special Education Needs (SEN), particularly children with SLCN
• Supporting our students can sometimes be challenging, mental and physical resilience are qualities necessary for all our staff.
