About this role
.We are seeking an experienced and creative Arts Teacher with a strong focus on Media and Music to join our committed and collaborative team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a practitioner who is passionate about creative education and who can inspire young people through engaging, practical and meaningful learning experiences across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including nationally recognised qualifications such as GCSEs, BTECs and other accredited pathways.
The successful candidate will:
Design and deliver high‑quality creative arts provision with a particular emphasis on Media and Music
Teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5, adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs
Deliver and support national accreditation routes, including GCSE, BTEC and equivalent qualifications
Plan innovative, engaging lessons that build pupils’ skills, confidence and creativity
Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform next steps
Create a calm, inclusive and aspirational learning environment
Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff and senior leaders
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the creative arts
The candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience in teaching Creative Arts, Media and/or Music
Good working knowledge of GCSE, BTEC and other accredited programmes
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
