Pastoral Manager

About the role The purpose of this role is to support the pastoral care of pupils, reporting directly to the Senior Pastoral Manager and working under the guidance of the Knights Leadership Team (KLT). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in nurturing pupils' emotional and social development, helping to ensure that they feel happy, safe, and supported throughout their school journey. As a Pastoral Manager, you will be instrumental in promoting positive relationships within the school community, working closely with pupils, parents, and staff. Your role will be central to embedding the school’s values, fostering a caring and inclusive environment, and encouraging high standards of behaviour and achievement. In addition to supporting pupils' well-being, you will assist in ensuring that school policies on behaviour and learning are adhered to, while working collaboratively with others to maintain a safe and respectful school environment. You will also help monitor pupils’ progress and well-being by maintaining accurate records using systems such as CPOMS and the school’s MIS system, ensuring data is processed promptly and accurately. Regular reports will be required for the Senior Leadership Team, teachers, and heads of department, keeping all stakeholders informed about pupils’ pastoral development. The role is offered on 35 hours per week term time only. Office hours are 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday.
