This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join the Pastoral Team. The Pastoral Lead is responsible for ensuring that the advice, guidance, support, and challenges provided by the Student Progress Leaders and Student Progress Advisers are effective. They also oversee their team’s ability to help students reach their full potential.
Alongside this, the Pastoral lead will be required to teach in a Curriculum area. You will be will be able to deliver inspiring lessons, bring knowledge and experience to the curriculum, and have a desire to teach beyond the specification, believing every student can succeed. The Role:
To lead a team of Student Progress Advisors (SPAs) and Student Progress Leaders and ensure the quality of their work with SPAs. This helps support students’ learning outcomes and pastoral care.
Each Pastoral Lead will also oversee an area of cross college responsibility; supporting students to achieve outcomes at their highest potential. In doing so the post holder contributes to the stated ambition of the College to continue to be ‘a distinguished provider of the highest quality education’.
