Part Time KS2 Teacher – Miniland Farm, United Kingdom
Miniland Farm is a small Independent SEN Primary school based on a rural farm setting.
Our class sizes of 4-6 provide a high-quality education for pupils with ASC, ADHD, SALT and anxiety who need a small nurturing setting.
We are seeking an teacher 2 days a week (preferably Wednesday and Thursday) who is warm, patient and emotionally attuned to be able to support the needs of our pupils.
A love of the outdoors and animals is essential to able to fully embrace our unique school setting.
Qualifications & Training
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Knowledge & Experience
Experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
Understanding of SEND, particularly ASC, SEMH and sensory processing
needs.
Ability to adapt teaching for pupils working well below age-related
expectations.
Experience using visual supports, structured teaching and differentiated
resources.
Skills & Abilities
Warm, patient and emotionally attuned approach.
Ability to break learning into small, achievable steps.
Strong behaviour-support skills using positive, relational approaches.
Excellent communication with pupils, families and professionals.
Ability to lead and work collaboratively with support staff.
