Why this role matters Many of our students face barriers such as anxiety, autism, SEMH needs, and emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). As an Outreach Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping them re-engage with learning - often delivering education in alternative settings and guiding them back into school life. What you'll be doing You will: ✨ Support students on outreach or transition timetables at home, in the community, or off-site ✨ Deliver personalised, high-quality teaching to meet a range of complex needs ✨ Help students make academic, social, and emotional progress ✨ Take ownership of student outcomes, engagement, and wellbeing ✨ Plan and deliver tailored learning programmes up to Functional Skills Level 2 ✨ Work closely with the SENCo, teachers, families, and external professionals ✨ Contribute to EHCP reviews, assessments, and progress tracking ✨ Support students to successfully transition back into full-time education Your work will directly change lives - helping students rebuild routines, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
