Orchestra Director (Part-time)

Operation Operation Roles and responsibilities can be divided by 6 categories which are Planning Come up with yearly & monthly plan for ISHCMC orchestra. Yearly plan includes music selection, class management, concert planning, marketing plan. Monthly plan includes detailed class schedule (additional practice schedule when concert/event is coming up. Structuring Set up the target number of orchestra members by instruments. Recruit orchestra members. Announce ISHCMC orchestra establishment and inform how to be member by posting in website /Email. Set up online application procedure. Set up guideline for selecting students (if applicants exceed target number) Consider how to connect orchestra to Performing Art Academy. Arrangement Arrange or rearrange the orchestra music for ISHCMC orchestra students only Create all instrumental music sheets. Teaching Operate 2 classes per day / 8 classes per week (instrument class: 6 classes / whole member practice: 2 classes per week) : the class / practice schedule is changeable depend on concert schedule. Prepare all the instruments and music sheets for the class. Collecting students records and check the absence of the students update absence to homeroom teacher and parents Compile daily schedule for the orchestra class Concerts/Events Organize and coordinate 3 different orchestra concerts in first year (Yearly concert/Seasonal concert /Graduation) Set up partnership and cooperate with outside volunteer organization (co-launch event) Orchestra support when the school has events Authority to rent all the school instruments /music practice room and theater for the orchestra students practices rehearsals and concerts. Authority of giving awards and certifications for the orchestra students. Support and communicate with the variety of organization to participate the global school event. Marketing Take initiative in implement marketing plan. PR for ISHCMC orchestra activity about fund raising concert to support the Vietnam community (
