We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Student Manager to join our team at Cheadle Hulme School.
Overview:
The Inclusion Student Manager plays a key role within the School's pastoral team, ensuring that pupils who require additional support are able to access, engage with and thrive within the academic and wider life of Cheadle Hulme School.
This is a school-wide inclusion role, working flexibly across year groups and supporting pupils where additional pastoral and inclusion capacity is required.The post holder will work flexibly across the School, supporting pupils with additional barriers to learning, coordinating reduced timetables and personalised learning pathways, and providing additional pastoral capacity where it is most needed.
Working closely with Heads of School, Heads of Year, Student Managers, the Learning and Support Department, the Deputy Head Academic and the Junior School Pastoral Lead, the post holder will coordinate tailored support for pupils whose education requires flexibility due to medical needs, SEND, anxiety-based school avoidance, emotional wellbeing or other barriers to engagement.
The Inclusion Student Manager will also provide planned and reactive cover for Student Managers during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of pastoral support across the School.
Working across both the Junior and Senior Schools, the post holder will contribute to a coherent whole-school approach to inclusion by supporting pupils, strengthening transition arrangements and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of pastoral care from Key Stage 2 through to Sixth Form.
