Nursery Practitioner

We have an exciting opportunity for a level 3 Nursery Practitioner working with children ages 2 – 4. This is an all year round post, working 42.5 hours per week between the hours of 07:30 am and 6.00 pm working at Ridgeway, The Thicket, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3QE. The post is one of a team of Nursery Practitioners who work within the Nursery to provide structured play and development opportunities for children in early years. To be successful in this role, you must be: ● Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant childcare qualification or very willing to train. ● Have previous experience working in an early years setting ● A good level of English and Numeracy ● Able to create safe, happy and stimulated play activities ● A responsive team player ● Engaged with the School's ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively within an open, honest and hardworking team ● Able to demonstrate a strong and obvious commitment to pupil welfare and safeguarding and a clear understanding of Child Protection issues In return we offer a positive working environment, with supportive colleagues and regular opportunities for professional development and training.
