Position: Midday Assistant Position Type: Other Support Positions Minimum Experience: 2 years Newbury Park Primary School is a large, diverse and inclusive four-form entry school with approximately 900 pupils. We are seeking to appoint a reliable, caring and proactive Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. The role will involve: Supervising pupils during the lunchtime period, both in the dining hall and the playground Promoting positive behaviour in line with the school’s values: compassion, courage, curiosity, creativity and collaboration Supporting pupils with their meals where required Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils at all times Encouraging positive play and inclusion We are looking for someone who: Enjoys working with children and can build positive relationships Is calm, patient and consistent Works well as part of a team Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing Is reliable and punctual We offer: A welcoming and supportive staff team Well-behaved, friendly and enthusiastic pupils Opportunities for training and development A strong commitment to staff wellbeing If you are passionate about supporting young learners in a nurturing environment, we would love to hear from you.
