Are you a passionate Modern Foreign Languages teacher looking to make a genuine difference in a highly specialist education setting? Brighton and Hove Clinic School, rated Outstanding by Ofsted (May 2024), is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated MFL teacher to join our dedicated team. Based on the same site as Brighton and Hove Clinic, a specialist eating disorder service for young people aged 11–18, our small hospital school provides a highly personalised, full-time curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. We enable students to continue their education whilst receiving treatment, supporting both their academic progress and personal development. With a maximum of just 16 students on roll, class sizes are exceptionally small. This allows you to focus on delivering tailored, engaging lessons that meet each student’s individual needs, interests, and stage of recovery. The role offers a refreshing alternative to mainstream education, with a strong emphasis on wellbeing, meaningful relationships, and impactful teaching. You will be part of a close-knit, compassionate team, working collaboratively with both education staff and healthcare professionals to support students holistically. In addition, as part of Elysium Children and Education, you will have opportunities to connect with colleagues across a wider network of specialist schools, contributing to shared practice and ongoing professional development.
