The Role The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: To oversee the maintenance and efficient operation of the technical facilities of the Media and Film based courses in the college To support the booking out, overseeing of maintenance and servicing of Camcorders, DSLR cameras, tripods, lights and audio recording equipment and the provision of appropriate peripherals and software such as SD cards and the transfer of student work to the Macs. To support the booking out, overseeing of maintenance and servicing of the Broadcast Studio for filming, recording and photography. To support teaching staff delivering Media and Film courses using Apple Mac computers and relevant software applications and to provide technical support for students in class and on an individual basis/as required regarding Adobe Creative Suite To provide technical and creative support for students through skills development and in-class workshops regarding Adobe Creative Suite For the full job description please see attached ‘Job Pack’.
