Egypt British International School (EBIS) is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year, aligned with our mission of Enriching – Exploring – Excelling and our core values of enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence.
We are looking for a passionate educator who inspires students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of mathematics, encourages logical and analytical thinking, and builds confidence in problem-solving. The successful candidate will create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students are challenged to explore mathematical concepts, apply their knowledge, and develop skills that support their academic and personal growth.
Requirements:● Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field with recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
● A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably within an international British-curriculum context.
● Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics.
● Ability to deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated Mathematics lessons across Key Stages.
● Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly and effectively.
● Ability to develop students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.
● Experience in using a range of teaching strategies and resources to support different learning needs.
● Skilled in positive behaviour management and in creating a respectful, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
● Strong organisational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Job Description:Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with National Curriculum objectives and school schemes of work.
