About this role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive secondary school team. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction, inspire students’ curiosity, and support academic excellence across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and KS5 where applicable). Key Responsibilities Teach Mathematics to secondary students following the school curriculum Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet students’ diverse learning needs Assess, record, and report on students’ progress in line with school policies Use a range of teaching strategies to promote problem‑solving and critical thinking Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Contribute to curriculum development and department planning Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent) Good subject knowledge and classroom management skills Ability to use technology effectively to support learning Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with an international or British curriculum is an advantage What We Offer Competitive salary package Accommodation and transportation Supportive leadership and collaborative working environment Professional development opportunities Opportunity to work in a diverse international community How to Apply Please submit your CV to recruitment.nia@newtonschools.sch.qa
