RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic
i. To support the development and implementation of a Trust-wide strategy to improve
student attendance, inclusion and engagement.
ii. To contribute to raising standards by identifying barriers to attendance and inclusion and
supporting schools in addressing these effectively.
iii. To ensure that vulnerable students, including those with SEND or from disadvantaged
backgrounds, are supported to access education consistently.
iv. To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating
to attendance, safeguarding, inclusion and off-site provision in line with statutory
requirements.
v. To promote a culture of high expectations around attendance and inclusion across all Trust
schools.
vi. To support continuous improvement by contributing to Trust self-evaluation and
development planning in relation to attendance and inclusion.
