Level 2 EYFS & Y1 Teaching Assistant

Meynell Nursery & Primary School are currently seeking a Level 2 EYFS & Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in supporting the development and education of our youngest learners. Position: Level 2 EYFS & Year 1 Teaching Assistant Position Type: Other Support Positions Location: Meynell Community Primary Academy, United Kingdom Role Overview: As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Year 1. You will help create an engaging and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning, development, and well-being. Skills and Qualifications: - Must have an EYFS full and relevant qualification​​ - Good communication skills with both children and adults - Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team - Basic understanding of child development principles is desirable but not essential Values and Attitudes: - A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them learn - Patience, kindness, and empathy towards pupils’ individual needs - Commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all children at the school - Willingness to learn new skills and take on feedback positively - Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in all aspects of your role If you are enthusiastic about making a positive difference in early years education within a friendly community setting, we would love to hear from you.
