Lecturer in Photography and Graphics

Brockenhurst College has an opportunity for a Lecturer in Photography and Graphics to join their dedicated and enthusiastic team on a part time basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £33,367 - £44,365 pro rata per annum DOE. (Unqualified teachers £26,436 to £33,367 pro rata per annum.) About the role: As the Lecturer in Photography and Graphics you will continually improve the learning experience and achievement of students through effective teaching. Responsibilities as our Lecturer in Photography and Graphics will include: Teaching on courses as agreed with the Head of Curriculum - CTEC Level 2 Art and Design alongside photography, life drawing and digital illustration enrichments, although courses may be subject to change within Art and Design. Provide pastoral support where required. Acting as Course Leader, when requested Preparing and marking student work, monitoring progress towards individual targets, keeping records and providing timely reports/reviews to students, parents, employers and College managers, as appropriate Working closely with other colleagues to respond to the needs of students Paying due attention to the principles of inclusive learning including: individual learning styles support for students with learning difficulties and disabilities extension resources/activities for students of higher ability; general resources, including the use of Information Learning Technology. Contributing to the design, delivery and future planning and development of the curriculum Contributing to the teaching/learning resource bank for the relevant subject/course Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments in the relevant subject/course Developing and maintaining effective external links related to the de
