Learning Support Assistant (Mainstream)

Aquinas is a thriving Catholic Sixth Form College in Stockport with over 2400 FTE students. The college wishes to appoint to the following permanent post to start in the autumn term 2026: Learning Support Assistant (Mainstream) – 35.5 hours per week - term time (44.4 weeks) to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to access the curriculum, develop their skills and succeed on their courses. Most of this support is on A Level or Level 3 BTEC courses. Salary scale £25,951 - £26,343 (pro rata actual salary £21,202 - £21,522) The above appointment will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association (SFCA) Support Staff Pay Scale, as specified.
