The role
Dinnington High School is looking for a proactive and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our Inclusion Department on a permanent basis.
This is a key role supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, working with individuals and small groups to help them access the curriculum and make progress in their learning. You will become part of a committed and supportive team, working together to further improve teaching, learning and student outcomes.
An understanding or experience of working with vulnerable young people and those with learning or behaviour difficulties is essential. You will also be flexible enough to meet the changing demands of a busy school day and able to organise and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to your work is essential.
