You will be part of a supportive team that prioritises student well-being and parental engagement, working closely with the Senior Inclusion Manager & Academy Principal, Vice Principal, and wider school staff to maximise student attainment, behaviour and attendance through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring.

Actual Salary: £25,376 - £27,528

Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time + 5 days
Reports to: Academy Principal

Start Date: ASAP
Monitor all students in the year group, both academically and with behavioural issues.
Undertaking weekly attendance checks for your year group contacting parents / carers to clarify reasons for absence.
Work closely with families to encourage parental / carer engagement.
Attend and, where necessary, chairing Children in Need and Team Around the Child meetings, including the coordination of the minutes and future meetings.
We are seeking an organised, approachable practitioner with excellent listening skills who can operate with absolute discretion and confidentiality.
Essential Requirements:5 GCSEs or equivalent (including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above).
Experience working within the education system or in multi-agency settings.
Understanding of how to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and to recognise potential child safeguarding issues
Proven ability to build trusted working relationships with parents, children, and external agencies to maximize engagement.
Excellent knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages, SIMS, databases and web technologies
