Lead Teacher of Maths

Filey Academy are looking to appoint a Lead Teacher of Maths to join our academy in September 2026, on a full time, permanent basis. As a Lead Teacher you will provide pedagogic leadership as an outstanding classroom practitioner, playing a key part in raising standards through the model of your own excellent teaching and by supporting the professional development of your colleagues. The ultimate aim will be to improve the learning experience and increase the outcomes of pupils, whatever their ability. Our School Filey Academy is an 11-16 mixed community school serving the coastal town of Filey and its surrounding villages. We have a proud heritage in our local community and are embarking on a period of transformation and improvement.
