Lead Teacher of Digital Literacy

We are seeking a creative and forward-thinking Lead Teacher of Digital Literacy to play a central role in shaping how our students and staff engage with digital technology across the school. As we continue to develop our curriculum, we place a strong emphasis on digital literacy, ethics, online safety and the responsible use of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. Whilst the successful candidate will lead the current Computer Science GCSE, they should have a commitment to building innovative courses across both Key Stages as new curriculum requirements evolve. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and help to shape a key whole-school priority, working collaboratively with colleagues across and beyond subject areas to ensure that students not only use digital tools creatively and confidently, but also understand how to do so ethically, safely and with academic integrity. The successful candidate will support both students and staff in developing informed, reflective and responsible approaches to digital technology and AI.
