The role
Dinnington High School is seeking to appoint a KS4 Achievement Lead to provide support to staff and subject areas, ensuring that effective teaching and learning can take place across lessons.
In this role, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day pastoral leadership for the KS4 year group, overseeing the delivery of pastoral support and contributing to the academic achievement, personal development, welfare and behaviour of all students.
Working as part of a strong pastoral team, you will help to develop, implement and monitor strategies and procedures that promote positive behaviour and improved student conduct, ensuring that all learners are supported to reach their full academic potential and develop themselves to be respectful, responsible and resilient.
The role requires accurate and timely record keeping alongside clear and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. You should have proven experience of working with children and young people in a range of settings, including experience of resolving issues relating to young people, and the ability to respond appropriately to guidance, interpret procedures and work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a consistent focus on student support and achievement.
