Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 6:15am to 2:45pm, Monday to Friday, including attendance at INSET days and Open Mornings
Salary: £23,523.92 per annum pro-rata inclusive of holiday pay (£29,989.70 FTE)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (35 weeks per year)
We are seeking a motivated individual to become a Kitchen Porter in the Catering Department at St George’s Junior School. You will provide assistance to the Head Chef, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role. These qualities are essential in what can be physically demanding job. Experience of working within a busy team or on an individual basis is an advantage for this position.
You will need to comply with all regulations relating to cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety within a kitchen and storage setting (including COSHH) and ensure that these are always adhered to. You must make sure that a high standard of personal hygiene is maintained at all times and ensure that personal protective equipment provided is worn as advised.
