Kitchen Assistant

Hourly rate of £12.78 per hour, (£17,476.20 per annum) plus 15.55% holiday pay. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week during College term time. The working hours fall between 10am – 8pm, on a rota basis, which includes some weekend shifts. This is an exciting opportunity to join our talented and dedicated catering team, working within a prestigious boarding school based in the centre of Cheltenham. You will be part of a large and friendly community, contributing to our pupils’ education and experience. Operating during the school term time only, this position allows for a fantastic work-life balance. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work as part of a team undertaking basic food preparation, kitchen cleaning and hygiene duties, and serving pupils and staff. You may also have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of College events such as weddings, corporate events, Summer Schools etc. To be successful in the role, you should have good communication skills and a customer service ethos.
