At Avonside School, we're looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring IT / Computer Science Teacher (or Instructor) to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to engage, motivate and empower young people with additional needs through creative and meaningful learning experiences. As our IT / Computer Science Teacher, you'll lead the delivery of an engaging and accessible curriculum that equips pupils with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world. Teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4, you'll bring technology to life through innovative lessons that develop digital literacy, computational thinking and real-world problem-solving skills. You'll also introduce vocational learning opportunities that broaden horizons and inspire future aspirations. Working closely with colleagues, therapists and families, you'll adapt your teaching to meet individual needs, ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to achieve success. What You'll Be Doing Deliver engaging IT and Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, linked to the National Curriculum. Develop pupils' core digital skills, preparing them for further education, employment and independent living. Plan and deliver personalised learning experiences that meet a wide range of SEND and SEMH needs. Act as a Form Tutor, supporting pupils' academic progress, wellbeing and
