Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve success?
The Elizabethan Academy is seeking an exceptional Inclusion & Engagement Manager to lead our Inclusion room and play a key role in supporting students who require additional pastoral, learning or engagement support.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can build positive relationships with students, families, staff and external agencies, helping vulnerable young people to overcome challenges, develop confidence and successfully access mainstream education.
We are immensely proud to be an outward-facing and innovative stand-alone academy. Staff are given the freedom to be creative in their work while ensuring that every child receives the high-quality support they deserve. We also recognise the value of subject expertise and place strong emphasis on this through our tailored CPD programme.
Ensuring that all students are supported to have the best possible future is extremely important to us. You will be joining an incredibly welcoming team that makes a difference to children's lives every day both on our main site, and potentially also at our off-site Enhanced Provision. The academy has achieved the Autism and Dyslexia Friendly Kitemarks and was awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools. We are frequently selected to pilot new initiatives by the Local Authority and have benefited from the installation of a new sensory room and outdoor classroom after being awarded funding.
