30 hours per week HLTA + 2.5 hours per week Lunchtime Supervisor, term time only
Salary: Grade 9 / SO1 - Scale Points 23 to 26 (£33,366 to £36,124 FTE)
+ Lunchtime Supervisor, Grade A2, Scale Point 3 - £12.85 per hour
Start: October 2026

We require a caring and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff. They will undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils, to assist the Teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom and to provide class cover across the school as required. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
You will have:
* Previous experience of working with children in a classroom setting
* Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
* Awareness of safeguarding
* Understand the importance of confidentiality and work in a discreet manner where appropriate.
* Patience and the ability to relate well to children
* Able to receive instructions and guidance
* Willingness to participate in development & training opportunities.
