Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)

Duchy College, (formerly Harrogate Ladies College) comprises pre-school, preparatory, senior and sixth form and are a family of leading independent schools delivering a world class education in the heart of Harrogate for boys and girls aged 2-18 years. In our last ISI inspection in 2024 we met all standards in all areas and in 2017 we were awarded the highest possible rating of Excellent in All Areas from 2 to 18 years. This is an exciting time in the School’s history as from September 2026, we will be starting our journey to become fully co-educational. We will also be changing our name for the new era to Duchy College. We are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (SEMH) within our Learning Support team to provide support with social, emotional and mental health with 1 pupil. The role will also run a break out space and clubs which will be available to other pupils. You will also be providing In class support to the pupil from September 2026. The role is varied and is full time, term time. Experience of working with Neurodiverse children is essential. The role works under the direction and support of the Head of Inclusive Learning/SENCo in College about the progress of the pupils.
