Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated HLTA to join our Prep School team. This is a great opportunity to support high-quality teaching and make a positive impact on pupils’learning and wellbeing. You will work closely with teachers to support classroom activities, help plan and assess learning, and encourage pupils to become independent learners. You will also supervise whole classes during PPA time or short-term teacher absence. This is a busy and varied role suited to someone who enjoys creating a fun and engaging learning environment. Ideally you will have a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience and be familiar with the Early Years and Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculums. Experience of working in a similar role in a school environment would be an advantage This is a term-time only role offered on a permanent basis to start September 2026. The hours of work are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.25am-5.00pm and Wednesday 8.00am-5.00pm. A competitive starting salary is offered to the right candidate.
