This is a position is 36 hours per week Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.15pm & Friday 8.30am – 3.45pm, 38.2 weeks per year (term time only) on appointment.

This is a specialist Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role with responsibility for acting as the SEND House Lead for an identified house. Working in close partnership with the House Team and Curriculum Team Leader – Learning Support, you will lead the coordination, monitoring and development of SEND provision across the house, ensuring that students with additional needs receive effective, inclusive and personalised support. As the key point of contact for SEND within the house, you will champion the needs of students, support staff in implementing appropriate strategies and interventions, and work collaboratively with students, parents/carers and external professionals to secure positive outcomes and maximise student achievement, wellbeing and engagement.
To provide supervision for whole classes of pupils, including cover supervision as appropriate, to maintain continuity of pupil’s learning.
