Orrell Lamberhead Green Primary School is seeking an ambitious, values‑driven Headteacher to lead our school into its next phase of development. This role is open to external applicants, and we warmly encourage applications from experienced leaders who are new to our Trust and community.

About the role
As Headteacher, you will have full responsibility for the strategic leadership, organisation and day‑to‑day management of the school. You will:
Lead and sustain high standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all pupils
Build a positive, inclusive and aspirational school culture rooted in strong values
Inspire, develop and support staff at all levels, ensuring high‑quality professional development
Work in close partnership with the Local Governing Committee, parents, carers and the wider community
Act as a visible ambassador for the school and the Trust
Ensure the school meets all statutory, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
You will be supported by, and work collaboratively with, The Rowan Learning Trust’s central team and fellow school leaders across the Trust.
About you
We are looking for a leader who:
Has a successful and credible track record as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher
Has the vision, energy and resilience to lead school improvement in a dynamic environment
Brings strong people‑focused leadership skills and a commitment to staff wellbeing
