Headteacher - New Ways School, 300 Redhill Road, Kings Norton, Birmingham, B38 9EL Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 | Full Time (40 hours/week) Purpose of Role The Headteacher is the lead professional and role model for the school community, responsible for providing visionary and operational leadership that ensures high quality education, safeguarding, and wellbeing for pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. This role demands a commitment to the school’s ethos of trauma-informed, therapeutic practice and the EPIC values (Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Caring), fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe environment where every pupil can thrive. At New Ways School New Ways is an Outstanding Independent SEN School with two sites. Our KS3 students attend our school site in South Birmingham (B38), and our KS4 KS5 students attend our college site in North Worcestershire (B60). New Ways caters for 11-19 year olds who have SEND needs relating mainly to Autism. We offer an environment that is safe and low sensory alongside an ambitious curriculum which includes a suite of GCSE’s and enrichment opportunities to ensure students achieve the very best outcomes possible and are fully prepared for their transition in to Further education, employment, training and adulthood.
