Headteacher

This is a rare opportunity to take full leadership of a new specialist school at a pivotal moment. Angel Meadow School is an independent special school for pupils aged 11–16 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), opening in 2026. The school has been designed as a small, high-support setting for pupils with a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties. Following its opening phase, we are seeking a Headteacher to take full leadership of the school from September 2026 and drive it forward into its next stage of development. The Opportunity This is not a standard Headteacher role. You will be taking over a newly established school with: A clear vision and structure already in place A small cohort of pupils A committed and carefully selected staff team The opportunity to shape systems, culture and quality from an early stage You will have the autonomy to lead the school day-to-day, with the support of the Directors, and a clear focus on delivering a strong first Ofsted outcome.
