Head of Grounds

The Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint an exceptional Head of Grounds & Gardens to lead the maintenance, development, and enhancement of our extensive grounds and gardens across multiple school and nursery sites in Cheltenham. Reporting to the Operations Bursar, you will lead and manage the Grounds & Gardens team across the Foundation's estate, ensuring all outdoor spaces are safe, attractive, and maintained to the highest standards. You will play a key role in supporting educational activities, sporting excellence, major events, and community engagement across our schools and nurseries. The successful candidate would have a full driving license and experience in leading and managing estates, grounds and maintenance teams. A qualification in Horticulture, Sports Turf Management is advantageous but not essential. The Dean Close Foundation are a values-driven organisation that fosters love, courage, and contribution.
