Head of Biology

We wish to appoint an experienced teacher to lead and manage the Biology subject area within the Science Faculty from January 2027. This post is offered on a one year fixed term contract to cover the substantive post holder’s maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be a committed and experienced teacher, who is a highly effective classroom practitioner, and has management aspirations within the subject area.

Biology is very well taught at Prendergast School and is a popular subject choice amongst our students at key Stage 5. The successful candidate will be joining a very strong team of teachers who enjoy working together to develop a love of learning in our students through all key stages.
