Tes is supporting the appointment of a Harp Peripatetic Teacher to join a school based in Ealing.
The High School, one of London’s leading independent girls’ day schools, has an exciting opportunity for a Harp Peripatetic Teacher to teach throughout the Junior and Senior Schools.
The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching students on a 1:1 basis from Year 3 to Year 13 and will be interested in developing the role within the wider Music Department.
The post holder will be engaged on a self-employed basis and will be expected to be available for 1/2 day per week, term time only. The day/timings can vary depending on other commitments. They will be responsible for creating their own timetable to ensure weekly lessons of 35-minutes are taught to their pupils.
Candidates will ideally be on the DBS Update Service. You will be required to invoice directly to the parents of the pupils you teach. The Trust or the School cannot act as agent for either you or the parent and will not be involved in either invoicing or payment. You remain free to set your own charging rate and should notify the School in writing at least one term in advance of the rate you will charge for the following term.
