Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Graduate Teaching Assistant will be expected to support these students in their mainstream lessons and in small groups. The post also involves running specific interventions to support students with SEND. Applications are welcome from experienced Teaching Assistants and those considering this, or teaching, as a career. Previous post holders have gone on to complete ITT programmes and enter the teaching profession. The role, therefore, provides excellent preparation for those aspiring to teach. Lampton School is a large, mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school. We were judged as "outstanding" in all categories by Ofsted in May 2008 and again in May 2013. We are the lead school for the London West Alliance and a SCITT.
