Classroom Teacher Salary: Main pay scale (MPS) + SEN Allowance (£2,787) Contract: 1-year fixed term contract (Maternity Cover) Closing date: Friday 26th June, 12 noon. Interviews: Week commencing Monday 29th June 2026 Start date: September 2026 The Kassia Academy is a specialist SEMH provision within the Kings Academy Trust, offering a small, nurturing environment for young people unable to access mainstream education. Supporting up to 60 learners, the academy provides a highly personalised approach to help pupils re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes. We are committed to a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach, underpinned by strong relationships, consistency and high expectations. Pupils benefit from a broad and balanced curriculum, alongside a rich personal development offer and access to targeted pastoral and therapeutic support. We are seeking a passionate, reflective and resilient general teacher to join our team. Our teachers deliver a broad and balanced curriculum designed to meet the individual needs of our learners helping them to achieve academically, socially and emotionally.
