French Language Assistant

We are seeking a French Language Assistant to support A level students. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic native or near-native speaker to support the Languages department in developing students’ confidence, fluency and cultural understanding in the French language. This will be through high-quality speaking practice, collaborative teaching and authentic cultural engagement. This is a part-time (0.308), permanent, term-time-only position. You will be required to work two days per week (14.4 hours per week). The role runs over a 36-week period from 1 October until 31 May each year, with pay spread equally over 12 months. In addition, 5 days as compensation for 5 bank holidays will also be paid, pro rata. The salary will be on the sixth form college support salary scale at Point 28, currently £46,326 plus London Weighting (£3,382) per annum, pro rata. The actual salary will be £15,327 per annum.
