Safa British School is seeking to appoint an outstanding and passionate Female PE Teacher to join our thriving PE and Sport department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality Physical Education across Key Stages 1โ5 and contributing to one of the leading school sports programmes in the UAE.
The successful candidate will ideally specialise in Netball, Football, or Basketball and will have the drive to further develop participation, performance, and sporting excellence throughout the school. Experience in teaching BTEC and GCSE PE is also desirable. A willingness to contribute extensively to our competitive sports programme and substantial Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) provision is essential.
Sport plays a central role within Safa British School. Our PE department delivers an extensive ECA programme with exceptionally high levels of student engagement across a broad range of sports and activities. Participation and squad numbers continue to grow year on year, with Safa teams competing regularly within the Dubai Affiliated School Sports Association (DASSA) leagues and fixtures programme.
In addition, Safa British School is proud to compete in BSME competitions and tournaments, providing students with opportunities to perform against some of the strongest international schools in the region. The successful candidate will be expected to support fixtures, tournaments, squad training, and sports events, helping to continue the development of a positive and ambitious sporting culture.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified PE teacher with relevant teaching qualifications
Have experience teaching PE across primary and/or secondary phases
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice
Have the ability to coach and lead one or more of the following sports to a high standard: Netball, Football, or Basketball
Be committed to fostering participation, inclusion, and sporting excellence
