We are seeking to appoint a dedicated person to fulfil the role of Family Worker Assistant. This post is available for an immediate start.
Your role in school will be to work with the Family Worker to support parents/carers, children and their families in children’s learning and development so that, in partnership with schools and other agencies, children and young people are supported to meet their full potential.
You will assist in Family Room preparations and presentations, helping to maintain the order and cleanliness of the Family Room environment and in the absence of the Family Worker, lead groups such as Stay and Play.
Schools are a unique environment, extremely busy and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential. This is a highly rewarding but demanding role so a calm manner and good sense of humour is important.
